California residents can tell a business not to sell or share their personal information. This page explains where Juniper Bloom stands on that and how to send us a request.
Your California Privacy Rights
Two California laws set out these rights: the California Consumer Privacy Act, known as the CCPA, and the amendments made to it by the California Privacy Rights Act, known as the CPRA. Between them, a California resident may ask a business what personal information it collects, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, opt out of its sale or of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and limit how sensitive personal information is used. You can use these rights yourself or through an authorized agent.
What We Do With Your Data
The short answer: we do not sell what you give us, and we do not hand it over for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site runs no analytics or advertising tags. We do pass information to service providers that work for us, namely our host, payment processors, email delivery service and carriers, but only so they can carry out that work; under the CCPA that is neither a sale nor sharing.
Submitting a Request
Even so, you are free to lodge an opt-out or ask for a copy of your data. Write to support@juniperbloomwares.com and use this subject line so it reaches the right inbox: Opt-out request (California). In the email, give us:
- the name on your order
- the email address from checkout
- which right you want to use
If an authorized agent writes for you, they should include your signed permission. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is honored as an opt-out without any email.
After You Submit
We acknowledge your email within one business day. To make sure the request is really yours, we may ask you to confirm details from a past order. We respond in full within 30 days and email you once it is done.
Using any of these rights will never lead to discrimination: you keep the same prices, the same service and the same access to the shop.
